The World’s First Strap-On Phone

phone-strap-2-590x442If your iPhone is just too damn big and heavy for you, you’re in luck! A Japanese company called Willcom is now selling what they say is the world’s smallest and lightest phone. It’s called the Phone Strap 2 and as you can see from the photo, this itsy bitsy teeny weeny phone is just the right size if you happen to be a Lilliputian. Oh sure, it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of its larger cousins, but it makes up for it by being so darn cute! And really, that’s the important thing.

Apparently, the idea is to strap (hence the name) this wonderful device to your real phone to act as kind of a back-up in case you find yourself with a dead battery. And actually, now that I think about it, that’s not a horrible idea. I mean, you wouldn’t drive a car with no spare tire, right? Of course not! So put me down for a couple dozen of these babies!
